Workers installing white siding on a house with a garage
EXTERIOR SERVICE
Siding designed to withstand conditions in Texas..

James Hardie fiber-cement, vinyl, and engineered-wood siding installed with proper house-wrap, flashing details and ventilation. We do the prep right — old siding removed, sheathing inspected, windows and doors re-flashed before a single board goes up.

EARLY WARNING
things to consider
01Warning 01

Soft Substrate Sections

A critical indicator that active moisture has already penetrated past the cladding, threatening the underlying structural framing.

02Warning 02

Buckled or Dislodged Panels

Wind displacement usually points to incorrect fastening schedules, structural shift, or failing substrate integrity.

03Warning 03

Caulked-Over Failures

Heavy or messy caulk lines are clear signs of a cheap patch-up job trying to hide flashing failures instead of fixing them.

04Warning 04

Rot at Corner Posts & Window Heads

The siding is rarely the root issue here; failing drainage planes and lack of flashing are usually compromising the structure.

PROCESS
How the job runs, start to finish.
Start
Step 01

Thunder PRO Technical Audit

Full physical measurement of all elevations, comprehensive digital photo logging of current defects, and color consultation.

Step 02

Elevation Scope & Estimate

Itemized, per-elevation breakdown detailing exact material volume, trim architecture, and specific color selections.

Step 03

Color Validation

On-site sample layout boards. All cladding materials are ordered factory-direct to ensure batch uniformity.

Step 04

The Re-Clad Phase

For a typical 2,000 sq ft structure: 6-10 dedicated crew days. We tear down and dry-in one elevation at a time to secure the home.

Step 05

Rigorous walk-through of all elevations, precision detailing, final site punch-list, and official manufacturer warranty registration.

Questions about Siding
Hardie vs. vinyl — what's the real difference?

Hardie lasts longer (30+ years), won't burn, holds color better, but costs roughly 40% more installed. Vinyl is faster to install and easier to replace a damaged panel. Both get lifetime warranties now

Do I need new windows with new siding?

Only if the existing ones are failing. But it's the cheapest time to replace them — no extra trim or flashing labor since we're already there. We'll tell you honestly if yours have 10 years left

Can you re-side over existing?

Vinyl yes, Hardie no. We prefer full tear-off either way so we can inspect sheathing, re-wrap, re-flash. About 15% of homes show hidden moisture damage — better to find it now

How long does siding last?

Fiber cement 30-50 years. Insulated vinyl 25-40. Real cedar 20-30 with maintenance. All of our installs carry a 15-year workmanship warranty on top
